What is Propel@YH?

Propel@YH is a healthtech digital accelerator programme portfolio delivered by Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber. The programme is specialised for early stage innovators and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) looking to grow their presence and find real-world solutions to problems within healthcare and the Yorkshire and Humber region. Backed with highly successful and leading partners in regulatory, governance, legal, financial, and clinical areas innovators have a higher chance to ultimately procure with the NHS. Participants in this programme can fast track their growth and knowledge in the healthtech sector, make connections with local organisations, and network with industry leaders. Propel@YH ensures that participants get consistent and quality support during and after completing the programme, so you’ll never feel left behind.

Digital Health Accelerator and International Boot Camp

Propel@YH offers two programmes, the Digital Health Accelerator and the International Boot Camp. 

The Digital Health Accelerator is built for innovators and SMEs working to make healthtech clearer and easier to navigate. Whether you are a SME looking to grow your audience or an innovator looking to get their product into the market, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the NHS. Much longer and more in depth than the international bootcamp, participants have 6-months to fully develop their product, outreach strategies, funding opportunities and legal obligations to protect their innovation. 

The International Boot Camp is a fast track five-day programme for international innovators and SMEs looking to invest their solutions specifically in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Here, they get unique insights on the structure of healthtech and key NHS stakeholders in the region. Following a similar structure to the Digital Health Accelerator, participants are guided through a condensed programme plan targeting the key points international innovators need and encouraging engagement through pitching feedback from the NHS and a roundup NHS site visit, offering participants a real-world view of where their solution can fit within the healthtech and NHS ecosystem.

As a Partner, how do we support participants?
